The Diplomat Hotel was built in 1810,and so it has some physical limitations to accessibility, however, features such as wide doors, low tread stairways are a advantage. Once inside the hotel entrance, you have four steps up to ground floor level, a wheelchair lift here will take you to ground floor level of main hotel areas including the restaurants and public lounge bar. A disabilty tiolet is available on ground floor. lifts to all bedroom floor levels. the new accomodation has lift and wheelchair access to all floors. A bedroom on ground floor wide door and walk in shower with seat. we do all we can, to provide all our guests with excellent service. We provide a personal and caring service and we try to overcome any barriers that the physical limitations of the property may create. We and all our staff are sensitive to all our guests needs and will be delighted to help in the restaurant with check in, check out, and at all other times during your stay.
